She’s to share the blame for her contributions. She picked a lousy father for the child. They picked men who were scumbags so why act surprised when they act like scumbags? There are women who have multiple children fathered by different men. Yeah, I’d say women do share some of the blame for fatherless children. And yes I know this certainly isn’t always the case.
No one costs the government money. They cost the taxpayers money. Men cost the taxpayers the most money. Specifically the men in Congress and the White House. Regardless of the liberal tendencies of some of the few women in Congress, men are still responsible for the majority of the budgeting.

Aw gosh, Ryan, that is awfully nitpicky!! I’m sure that Jeff_42 did not intend his use of the phrase “the reason so many men are in jail” to imply “the only reason men are in jail”! I expect Jeff would have no problem agreeing that, as I said, female criminals are probably unfairly “undersentenced” sometimes because of sexist attitudes; if I’m wrong, I hope he will correct me. But I really think you’ve got a tempest in a teapot here.
Taxes help us by distributing the costs of society evenly (in theory - don’t talk about loopholes, etc.) across the population.
Talking about men vs. women in terms of tax usage vs. contribution brings up others thoughts … such as usage vs. contribution of groups such as the blind ! (you think those little sidewalk beeping things are cheap?).
