I was watching Bush’s favorite little sock puppet giving a speech today and noticed that where sideburns should be, there were these odd little Hassidic Jewish curly thingies that were combed down and forward and even covered parts of his ears (as you can see, I was doing everything except listening to what they had to say today.)
So, is this some kind of new look in Great Britain or is Blair incapable of growing real sideburns?
Looking at a closeup of Bush and Blair on reuters.com I can’t see anything unusual about blair’s sideburns.
Photo better than the live tv shot, but don’t you see those curls covering the ear?
But hey, it was not an earth-shattering observation on my part, but watching the newscast this morning, I couldn’t help but see his “sideburns” blowin’ in the wind.
The only remotely “curly” thing I see near his ear in that pic is the shadow of his ear cast on the back end of his cheek.
