Who did you vote for? Why?
Only the people who live in May or Corbin’s constituencies (of which there are 650) have the option of voting for them.
Do you understand how British elections work? Nobody voted for May or Corbin except for the voters in the districts they represented. Of the 650 members of Parliament elected this week, the results were as follows:
Conservative 318
Labour 262
Scottish National Party 35
Liberal Democrat 12
Democratic Unionist Party 10
Sinn Fein 7
Plaid Cymru 4
Green Party 1
Independent 1
Although this doesn’t really reflect who how people voted, which was as follows:
Conservative 42.3%
Labour 40.0%
Liberal Democrat 7.4%
Scottish National Party 3.0%
UKIP 1.8%
Green Party 1.6%
Democratic Unionist Party 0.9%
Sinn Fein 0.7%
Plaid Cymru 0.5%
No other party or group acheived as much as 0.5% of the UK-wide vote.

Who did you vote for? May Vs Corbin

Who is Corbin?![]()
That’s only superficially true. I intensely dislike my local Labour MP, who supported a vote of no confidence in Mr Corbyn. I voted Labour in spite of her.
In other words, I voted for Corbyn’s Labour.
I voted for Lord Buckethead.
Sorry, I should have checked the spelling before I posted.
