I’m surprised that Bernie isn’t doing better than he currently is…
… though not at all surprised that I gave this thread a “Super Tuesday” bump… on Monday morning. :smack:

Voted early (Illinois) for Bernie.
Colorado (and I) went with Bernie. Here’s hoping for another Union victory over The South.
Which is exactly why I will happily smoosh the box next to her name in November. But I early voted for Bernie, because he, more than Hillary, talks about the issues that are incredibly important but tended to get passed over: income inequality, student loan debt, wages flat while Wall Street booms. Also, he’s angry about the same thing I am - that none of the slimy bastards who wrecked our economy in 2008 ever suffered any consequences.
Still, I was waffling between pragmatism and idealism, when it occurred to me that this might be the only time in my life I could actually vote for a socialist who’s a viable candidate. (Although I think Bernie’s really a social democrat.)
So, knowing that I’ll be satisfied with whoever’s on the D side of the ballot in November, I felt the Bern.
