Venus & Serena Williams are somewhat devout Jehovah’s Witnesses; Erin Moran and Candace Cameron are Christians of the born-again flavor. Kim Fields and Tempestt Bledsoe are strongly anti-porn feminists. Don’t expect to see any of them naked any time soon.
But on the positive side, if Tia Carrere hasn’t done Playboy yet, it’ll be soon. And how about Kennedy, former MTV VJ and current host of a crappy game show on GSN? Rose McGowan seems a good candidate and how about two women desperately in need of career boosting, Christina Applegate and Lauren “Dumb and Dumber” Holly?
Since those related to scandal are always a good call, and since it’d break her mother’s heart, I wouldn’t be surprised if Martha Stewart’s estranged daughter Allison did a layout in the near future too.
I don’t know any of those women and don’t know anything about their personal lives or beliefs, nor was I making a serious prediction that any one of them is on the verge of doing Playboy. I was simply picking a bunch of former child TV stars that nobody has given a second thought to in 10 years or more. Those just happened to be the names that popped into my head. If I’d posted ten minutes earlier or later, I might’ve said McKenzie Phillips, Melissa Sue Anderson, Eve Plumb or Suzanne Crough.
The names don’t matter- I was merely making a point: Playboy layouts have almost never been a good career move. Apart from Kim Basinger and (MAYBE- she was already on the verge of stardom when she did it) Marilyn Monroe, how many women have parlayed a Playboy spread into stardom?
Playboy is for has-beens, not for stars on the rise.
Incidentally, for those who keep mentioning Tiffany’s fellow teen star of the Eighties, Debbie Gibson:
Unlike Tiffany, Debbie has a thriving show biz career- it just isn’t in the recording industry any more. Debbie (who insists on being called Deborah now) is a very successful stage actress, and stars regularly in major Broadway musicals.
So, she’s not desperate for fame, money, attention or a job. There’s no reason she’d pose for Playboy.
t.A.T.u. is a musical group consisting of two Russian teenage girls, Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova. They are “managed” by Ivan Shapovalov who founded the group in 2000 and found his two singers in a casting call. The girls are best known for the implied lesbian relationship they exhibit on stage.

Holding another girl’s breasts is not generally considered a lesbian relationship. Now if they had pictures of Lena performing oral sex on Yulia, I’d say we have proof.
