If my husband Doped, I’m sure he’d add to this thread. My two cats, who were mostly outdoor cats, have just joined the household and we are now keeping them as indoor cats. One of them is coping okay for the most part, but the other one spends nearly all the daylight hours jammed behind the dryer, and all the nighttime hours wandering around going, “MmmmmmmeeOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOwwwww! MeeeoowwAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaw!” I’ve been squirting him with water, but it only makes him hush for a short time (you know, long enough for me to get warm under the covers again.) Also, he now takes off running when the bedroom door opens, so I have to hunt him down in order to administer his squirt. My husband got up at 4:30 this morning to keep the cat quiet so I could have a couple of hours uninterrupted sleep. He’s a good man, but I’m wondering how long his patience will hold out.
