Who has seen every episode of Star Trek?

Has anyone on here watched every single episode of every Star Trek series?

Which is your favorite series and why?

What are your favorite episodes from each series and why?

I’m trying to rent my way through every available Star Trek DVD release this year.

So…what if someone has?
I liked Deep Space Nine. Darker, more film noire (sp) than the other series.

Alas, I can only claim to have seen every episode of TOS and TNG. Some episodes of DS9 and Voyager still await me, not to mention most of Enterprise.
So I still have reason to live.

I hate to admit it, but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen every season of TOS, STNG, DS9, and Voyager, plus all the movies. I watched a few first season episodes of Enterprise and gave up in disgust. Way to milk the cash cow till it ran dry, folks.

DS9 is my favorite. Darker, more complex, broader story arcs, great characters.

I’ve seen every episode of TOS, and I saw them all before 1970!

My record in viewing the other iterations is very spotty, however.

Every ep of TNG, TOS, TAA, ENT, and every movie. Seen most of VOY and about half of DS9.
Half of TOS and about half of TNG are my faves. Season 6 & 7 of TNG are a good place to start. DS9 is mostly boring, ENT is more than half bad, VOY has some bright spots in a bunch of snot.

But hey, don’t let our tastes fool you. For evry DS9 lover there is a TOS purist or a TNG apologist. Make your own way to Eden. And remember

My apologies if this posts twice, it timed out on me the first time and I waited about 15 minutes and it never showed up. So I’m trying again.

Like Qadgop the Mercotan, I saw all the TOS episodes in the original run.

I’ve seen all of the TNG episodes, almost all of the DS9 episodes (I missed several of the last two seasons), about half of the Voyager episodes (the worst of the bunch by far), and all the Enterprise episodes.

I saw a few of the animated series, but not many.

I’ve seen all of the movies, most of them more than once.

Out of all of them, my favorite episode is probably “Balance of Terror” from the original series.

I’ve not seen every episode of any of the series although I’ve probably seen more than 80% of The Next Generation, 90% of Deep Space Nine, and something over 50% of *Enterprise *and Voyager. I’ve seen very little of Star Trek and what I’m familiar with hasn’t inspired me to see more.

DS9 and three or four of the movies are the only Trek I still claim allegiance to.

All of them, at least twice. It’s not been hard to do on British TV. Sky One cycles through the Treks. They are currently showing Voyager every weekday, two episodes of TNG weekends, just started re-showing Enterprise on Sundays. When they get to the end of the Voyager run they’ll probably start over with DS9. If that isn’t enough Channel Five are showing one or two Voyager eps on Sundays and Channel Four are also showing Enterprise during the week.

I’ve not seen Nemesis yet. First Contact is the only film I’ve been to see twice at the pictures.

I rarely sit down and watch any more, if I bother at all I’ll watch enough to recognise the episode and think oh, that one and switch off. Occasionally I’ll (re)watch one. I have never seen and wouldn’t bother to watch the animated version.

Which is your favorite series and why? TNG, best ratio of good to yuk. And Patrick Stewart.

What are your favorite episodes from each series and why?

TOS. The Naked Time. [I am in control of my emotions]

TNG. The Best of Both Worlds. [Resistance is futile]

DS9. The Tribbles episode(s). Clever, and fun.

Voyager. Counterpoint. Less stupid than usual for Voyager.

BTW - I am NOT a Trekkie, I am a free man.

I’ve seen all of the original series and TNG, and the movies.

DS9 is my favorite Trek, but I have not seen every episode. I skipped some of the later Ferengii “comedies” and even though I have the whole series on DVD, intend never to watch them.

I gave up on Voyager about halfway through the third season, and have not seen more than a few minutes of any episode of Enterprise–just enough to convince me that I wasn’t missing anything.

Thus we observe the decay of interest in a formerly dedicated Trekkie-from-childhood.
Favorite episodes:

TOS: Errand of Mercy. I never tire of seeing how irritated Kirk gets with the Organians, ends up practically siding with the Klingon commander, and gets sucker-punched for it.

TNG: The Inner Light. That flute music can still make me mist up.

DS9: Improbable Cause/The Die is Cast. Great Garak episodes.

I’ve seen 'em all. With very few exceptions I’ve seen all the TOS, TNG, and DS9 eps multiple times. At different times, I consider each of those three series my favorite. TNG had some spectacular episodes, but nothing matches the inoxerable build from the end of DS9’s S3 through the next four years. Plus DS9 was worth watching by about the fifth episode, while TNG took a season and a half.

I have a lot of episodes I really enjoy. For TOS there’s Balance of Terror, the submarine chase between the Enterprise and a Romulan bird of prey; By Any Other Name, where the ship gets taken over by these aliens that can turn humans into blocks of salt; the wonderful Amok Time; and A Piece of The Action, the one where the planet is controlled by Prohibition-era mobs.

TNG, there’s too many to name. The Inner Light is powerful as is the Picard love story in Lessons. I love Parallels for all the different versions of the Enterprise you see. Frame of Mind, where Riker finds himself going insane, actually had a lot of effect on my thinking, and there are lots of other great ones.

DS9, like I said, it’s all about the build, so it’s not the brilliant episodes so much as watching everything get worse and worse for the Federation. But Progress is good, as is The Visitor, with a grown-up Jake Sisko telling about his father’s death, For the Cause, the one where Dr. Bashir is outed as a genetically enhances, and that one where they pull of the heist of the Vegas casino in the holosuite. Oh, also More Tribbles, More Troubles.

With Voyager you have to look a little harder, but individual episodes in the last half of the series are enjoyable such as Shattered and Juggernaut. Plus the tried to do a season-long arc in S2 which didn’t exactly work but wasn’t bad at all and had a great climax.

Enterprise was, for its first two seasons, the worst of all. The third season was OK, although they didn’t take the opportunities they could have. The fourth season, though, was really good and was very much back to being Star Trek. Almost all of that season is worth watching, although your enjoyment would be considerably enhanced if you’re famiiar with TOS, on which a lot of ENT S4 eps are based. The best of the lot is the Mirror Universe arc, In a Mirror Darkly Pts 1 and 2, but the Klingon arc (Affliction and Divergence) is also much better than it has a right to be given that it exists solely to explain why the Kilingos of TOS lokk diffrerent than the Klingons from later series and the movies. The last arc, Demons and Terra Prime, starts off pretty slow but Terra Prime is not only Enterprise’s best episode, it’s actually good enough to be counted among the best episodes of other series. I knda liked the final episode as well, but that’s a distinctly minority opinion.

The animated series is fun, but definitely a kid’s show. The Counter-Clock incident and the one where Uhura takes command because all the men are effected by the song of siren-like aliens are both pretty good.

Of the movies, the even number rule holds up until Nemesis, which was pretty poor. I also liked Insurrection, although again, that’s a minority opinion.

I’ve seen every episode of TOS, TNG, and DS9. I’ve seen about half of Voyager.

For TOS, “Balance of Terror”, and, of course, “City on the Edge of Forever” are my favorites, but really, I love them all, every one, even the really awful “Spock’s Brain”.

As for TNG…I can’t recommend any episodes at this time. At some point recently the show began to fill me with ennui. I can’t describe it better than that, but even the ones I used to like I can no longer enjoy. It’s probably temporary.

For DS9, “Far Beyond the Stars” is my favorite, but there are a lot of good ones, especially mid-series.

Oh, and I saw the first episode of Enterprise.

I’ve only seen every Episode of Star Trek TOS. None of the others held my interests for long.
Obviously I consoder TOS the best.
I think it had the right mix of characters and the right mix of Adventure and Sci-Fi.

Jim

I’ve seen every single episode of TOS and NG, and all of DS9 except for the last act minutes of “the Visitor” because my then-girlfriend wanted to have sex. I started to protest and realized I was heterosexual.

Of course, I’ve never seen the other two imaginary series people speak of. They don’t exist. They’re no more than a mass hallucination.

Those who dislike Admiral Janeway have issues with their Mothers.

I’ve seen all of TOS, TNG, DS9, and ENT. I never got into the cartoon show and I tried VOY but gave up pretty quickly.

I used to think you had good taste but you are now dead to me. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve seen all of them. DS9 was my favorite, mostly because it didn’t carry the dead weight of STNG: Season 2 along with it. Even though the last few seasons of STNG were great, that second season (and half the first) sure stank things up a bit.

Favorite episodes:

TOS: City on the Edge of Forever
STNG: The episode in STNG when Picard is stranded alone on the Enterprise.
DS9: All the Mirror, Mirror universe episodes with the evil Kira in leather.
Voyager: Every show where they messed with Harry’s head.
Enterprise: EMPRESS HOSHI!!!

We separate him, together with his accomplices and abettors, from the precious body and blood of Trek and from the society of all Trekkers; we exclude him from our holy mother Trek in warp space and on earth; we declare him excommunicate [and anathema]

Trip lives!

Oh, yeah, I forgot about the cartoon series.

Funny about that.

TCS: The Soft Weapon

I’ve seen every one of TOS, TNG and DS9. I saw TOS so many times that I would play a game with my brother, who could identify the episode the quickest. Sometimes I could get it from the introductory music as we turned on the TV, before the tube warmed up enough to show a picture. Yes TVs used to have tubes and they did have to warm up.

I have seen most of Voyager but I am sure I missed some. Missed most of Enterprise but that was due mostly to work schedules. My wife loved it some I’m sure will will eventually get it on DVD.

I liked DS9 a lot more than the others. I feel the quality of acting is better over all. I also prefer a show with a story arc to one off shows. TNG pissed me off when it seemed they were building up to something and then they never returned to the plot point.

My favorite overall is from TNG. It doesn’t get better than David Warner torturing Patrick Stewart.
