I love it. Deli sandwiches? Hell yes. Done right in an over? hell yes. Bland and dry? Yep! Chopped to bits and refrigerated? Indeed, I’ll eat it right out of the bag.
Who doesn’t like turkey? I’ll tell ya who doesn’t like turkey - Comma-nists and PRE-verts, that’s who!
Love love love a roasted turkey. Thanksgiving isn’t Thanksgiving without one.
Who you callin’ a Comma-nist?
BTW, the prime rib smells fantastic, and we aren’t eating for a good 90 minutes yet.
I like roasted meats of most descriptions. I don’t think I’d like boiled turkey, say.
HAHAHAHA!!! “Fartiness”!!! I taste what you mean, I think. It’s also the awful texture of the meat.
HOWEVER- I DO love deli turkey. A turkey sub with mayo and provolone is fantastic. But that’s only when it’s been boiled, made into lunch loaf shape and moist. Roasted turkey just seems so damn different to me.
Missed window, but I’ll add I opted for filet mignon with Bernaise, mushroom cap, onion ring, string beans, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie this year. Stomach happy now.
