Who here remembers the TV show "3-2-1 Contact"?

Consider it stopped! But be careful what you wish for . . .

Which for me, was High Octane Nightmare Fuel Super Premium grade.

Because I remember watching when I was so young, at daycare. I barely knew numbers, let alone Math.

So I got a show that had a guaranteed loud noise / siren / klaxon, at a time when I hated such loud noises.

I used to like 3-2-1 Contact, but Square One was better. Mathnet and Math-Man just trumped anything on 3-2-1.

As an aside, did anyone else have problems with seeing actors from PBS shows in network shows besides me? For instance, when Olivia from Sesame Street wound up on 227, it just really bothered me. As a kid, I knew TV was fake, but for some reason, shows like Sesame Street, Square One, and 3-2-1 Contact were ‘real fake’ in that they were scripted, but those people really were who they played on the show. When I saw George from Mathnet on some show (and I think as the ‘bad guy’), it blew my little kid mind.

Ha. Nowdays, whenever my wife and I see that one gal who used to be on Cyberchase we always point and say “Hey, it’s that one gal who used to be on Cyberchase!” She was in a McDonalds commercial a short while ago and I think she’s on something that’s out there right now, but I can’t remember what. I admit, I have a wee bit of a crush on her.

The red-haired guy from Square One pops up on my radar fairly regularly, and I’m always just happy to see him getting work.

I used to watch 3-2-1 Contact all the time–loved that show. The only thing I actually remember is ROY G BIV and that the Bloodhound Gang episodes never, ever showed in order, and I never did get to see some of them. I wanted to BE that cool girl with the puffy pigtails.

I was very slightly too old for it when it came out, but I sure remember it.

Same here.
