ALL Y’ALL!!
Those are people who are willing to risk getting caught by sneaking up to my house or training a high-powered optical device on the cracks between my shades and the window frames. The point is that I’m not going to not walk around my own domicile in my altogether because I’m afraid someone might be peeping in.
“Everyone” implies that I’m willing to go to the grocery store in my birthday suit, which ain’t gonna happen.
I’m more surprised that there are 2 (to date) who apparently don’t even allow their doctors to see them nude.
I may have thrown off your results a bit. I answered, essentially, for who’s allowed to see me topless or in nothing but a pair of underdrawers. Only my husband and my doctors get to see my lady parts, but boobs are, if not exactly out for public display, at least likely to become so with relatively little concern.
Woo hoo!
I didn’t vote for doctor because I don’t think I’ve ever had a doctor see all of me naked. Parts, for sure, but not the whole enchilada. So to speak.
So that just leaves my husband and the dogs.
I checked “parent(s)” (among others) but I really mean “same-sex parent.”
I really don’t need to be getting naked in front of my dad. But my mom? No prob.
In the right context, everyone. I have no qualms about my body, and would happily vacation at a nude resort, for instance (but my wife is a bit more modest, so we don’t). My daughters still walk into our room when we’re changing, and don’t seem fazed (ages 8 & 10). Same-sex locker rooms, whatever, it’s a locker room. I’m changing. So on and so forth.
On the other hand, my openness about nudity doesn’t mean I want to strip for the TSA- it’s not the nudity, it’s the indignity. I’m a traveler, not here so you can feel you’re playing your part in “safety theatre”. Nor do I want my in laws to know that much about me, or vice-versa.
Plus, I may be comfortable naked but I’m sure the authorities wouldn’t want me to expose myself to schoolchildren, for instance. Neither would I, just for the record.
And I don’t know for a fact that I’m naked online, but I wouldn’t be that surprised to find out that I am. There are some things out there.
Anybody that wants to can look at me naked. I don’t get a lot of requests.
The older I get the less I am seen naked. I am not all that particular when it comes to nudity.
I was absolutely stunned when my sister-in-law told me her husband has never seen her nude. They have been married 40 years and have 4 children.
LOL
The mirror.
Everyone. Just because I don’t walk around naked all the time doesn’t mean that I would care if anyone saw me.
Anyone with $50!
Snap. I didn’t see pets on the list until after I voted.
You forgot: the undertaker and my tattooist.
Family medical emergency; person lying on floor having trouble breathing.
Me, in next room, sleeping. Naked.
I hear the sounds of the emergency, rush to look, run out into the living room, and shout for help.
Buck naked.
My sister, my other sister, my sister’s boyfriend, my papa… Everybody got a real good look…
Didn’t seem important at the moment…
I voted for doctor, significant other, same-sex stranger in locker room, parents (just my mom), kids (usually just the younger one), and siblings (I have two sisters, and if we’re all staying at my parents’ house and sharing a bathroom, one of us might shower while another is doing makeup or whatever).
Back in the day, I probably would have said “any or most of my friends.” In college, I played co-ed naked Twister at a naked party.
Anyone for a price but it is more than $50. Other than that, I have never been especially modest. I don’t flaunt anything but I don’t really care if people close to me see me naked or even strangers for that matter as long as it is context appropriate.
These days, it seems that only my pets and my doctor have seen me naked. And perhaps my neighbours when I have been less than diligent about closing the curtains when I wander naked from the shower to the bedroom or run downstairs to grab something without bothering to put anything on.
In my impetuous youth, I was pretty comfortable being naked if the circumstances were appropriate - skinny-dipped with family and friends, went to Toronto Island’s nude beach (they allowed dogs and I had the mutts with me that day), so stripped down to go for a swim, posed naked for an artist friend, played nude scrabble with my housemates and the neighbours, showered with male and female friends … all in good fun and no big deal. I’ve gotten older and fatter and more body conscious, but I am still ok with being naked, just not so many opportunities these days.
Your options don’t seem to be focused just in who, but also when. Whenever I’m naked in a setting where nudity is ‘normal’ (sauna, nude beach, locker room, etc), everyone is allowed to see me naked. If I’m alone at home in my shower, not really (although I’d be pretty meh about it).
