ETA: I also found this link. About some Asian show, and he’s supposedly some character whose father died. How did it get to twitter, though?

Donghae isn’t a character, he’s a real person - a member of the Korean boyband Super Junior.
As for how it got on Twitter, I couldn’t tell you. His dad died in 2006 and that show aired last year. I’ll search a bit on some Korean sites but dunno if I’ll find anything.
It might be inappropriate to find that page hilarious, but I do. Look at that single perfect shining tear! He’s a plastic doll of a human being. :eek: I wonder if grieving is in his contract.
Not sure about the original question, but apparently some members of that boy band are on twitter and uploaded a video of said member getting pranked (a pretty weak prank, I must say), so if a wave of their fans started posting this video. (Warning: not particularly interesting video) it could have been boosted up. It was the first result for “poor donghae” in Google.
