who is rebecca de mornay?

I’m all mixed up. I thought the name Rebecca de Mornay was in some old novel, and then I hear on Seinfeld someone calling this heavyset woman working at the license bureau or someplace like that by this Rebecca de Mornay name. when I loo it up on the internet I get entry after entry site about a blond actress! signed C.Onfused

iMDB is your friend:

She was the hooker in Risky Business. She was in the excellent Runaway Train, existentialist masterpiece!

I think your mind got Rebecca De Mornay confused with Daphne Du Maurier, who wrote “Rebecca”.

“Are you ready for me, Ralph?”

Rebecca De Mornay is a blonde actress. You are confusing her with Rebecca de Winter, the title character (although she never appears alive) in the classic novel Rebecca, which has been filmed several times, although never with Rebecca De Mornay. To confuse the issue further, Rebecca was written by Daphne du Maurier.

There was a great thread discussing both the book and film versions of Rebecca back in December.

Wasn’t de Winter the name of the Countess played by de Mornay in The Three Musketeers?

That might confuse things, as well.

Rebecca was Milady de Winter in the recent re-make of the Three Musketeers

MMMMMM…Rebecca De Mornay…

I spent much of the 14th year of my life, um, “washing my hands” in the bathroom thinking of Ms. De Mornay in Risky Business.

As a matter of fact, I may have to rent that again just to see the “train” scene one more time.

Rebecca de Mornay us also the daughter of right wing whackjob Wally George.

Rebecca De Morney did play a de Winter in The Three Musketeers, though she was Sabine de Winter.

Rebecca De Mornay - Evil Nanny/Bitch in the “Hand That Rocks The Cradle”.

If you liked her in Risky Businss, coyasicanbe, get yourself to the video store and rent And God Created Woman. That’ll bring back the old dirty hands feeling.

In the Seinfeld episode the character’s name was Rebecca De Mornay, just like the actress. She definitely was not THE RdM. Coincidence? Homage? Dunno.

Mmmmm…it’s delicious, it’s delightful, it’s De Mornay.

Ahhhh, Risky Business. Made me look at commuter rail in a whole new light…

Yeah, but the window box wasn’t to shabby…leaves blowing in through open French doors, Rebecca sans panties… hands needing washing…
