Who is the most stubbern person here????

Just to get some sleep,
I’m human, you know…

I am the most stubborn.

My proof?

While the rest of my family and my friends abandoned the White Sox during the 1994 strike (mostly because the strike was mainly due to the stubborness of Jerry Reinsdorf and Bud Selig), I stuck with them. I was stubborn enough to stick with a team that broke my heart. You want to talk the Cubs in 1969? You want to talk the Red Sox of 1975 and 1999? Try having your teams’ World Series run destroyed, not by a lack of good plays or the surge of another team, but a strike of that magnitude of stupidity.

It still hurts.

But I feel that, even if the Sox do no win this year, that they have vindicated me. My love for them has been returned. My stubborness has been rewarded.

Ok who have you been talking to. Somebody squealed now they are gonna pay!

Um… whips? never had anything to do with whips… nope not me…
Osip

This is a totally, completely, unbelievably shameless idea.

I*** LOVE*** it!!

Particularly since I don’t have to worry about the frequency of replies, as I did in the Dueling Quotes thread.

We need only drive everyone else off, and we can claim the stubbern (sic) title for ourselves. I’ll offer to share the title with you.

So we can post in the middle of the night. Who cares about time?

“What a devil hast thou to do with the time of the
day? Unless hours were cups of sack and minutes
capons and clocks the tongues of bawds and dials the
signs of leaping-houses and the blessed sun himself
a fair hot wench in flame-coloured taffeta, I see no
reason why thou shouldst be so superfluous to demand
the time of the day.”
–King Henry IV, Part 1, Act 1, Scene ii

Over to you, ** soulsling **!

You can try whatever you will, I’ll still be here
and post the last one.:stuck_out_tongue:

Life is just a bowl of cherries.

Anniz,
As much as I enjoy a pretty woman with an accent.
I cannot dare to let you claim the stubborn title.

Osip

If I say snälla = please let me win.
Remember you have to be nice to the new bies.

Oh no… I shall not let you get away with winning that easy.
I shall not back down from this challenege.

well ok I can be bribed

but no one has reached the price to make Osip drop out of the race.

Osip is here to stay.
Osip!

I have a question that you maybe can help me with, Osip?
If I want to add a picture of me to that side where people here have it, is it just to e-mail one
with a scanned picture of me to the staff here?

BTW, you don’t have a change against me,
you don’t know who you’re dealing with…

I believe if you want to have your picture on the SDpeople pages. http://www.geocities.com/sdpeoplepages Techchick can help you I am sure, she is helping out with the people pages. her e-mail from her profile is: Coflower1@aol.com.

Of course if you send it to me I can gladly pass it along to her

I may not have an Idea of who I am dealing with (you) but there is another side of the coin: you do not know who YOU are dealing with either.

Osip

Though soulsling is always around
On this message board he can be found
He still will not win
For he’s all full of gin
And we’ll find him passed out on the ground *

I will crush you all…

Myrr I aint leaving… well not anytime soon… not a soul has even offered me an acceptable bribe.

Osip

“I know not whether to depart in silence,
Or bitterly to speak in your reproof.”
–Richard III, Act 3, Scene vii

I’ve decided on the latter. I ain’t leaving, either.

Our DRY is a literate cretin
But you’ll soon be taking a beatin’
I’m staying right here
With my large mug of beer
Your stubborness will be a-fleetin’
*

BAM!!

oh my,

“Who struck this heat up after I was gone?”
-Earl of Worcester, King Henry IV part1, I.III

and to that…
“The miserable have no other medicine
But only hope…”
-Claudio, Measure for Measure III.I

“Why, why is this?
Think’st thou I’ld make a life of jealousy,
To follow wtill the changes of the moon
With fresh suspicions? No, to be once in doubt
Is once to be resolved…”
-Othello, Othello III.III

I aint goin’ no where!

“They come like sacrifices in their trim,
And to the fire-eyed maid of smoky war
All hot and bleeding will we offer them:
The mailed Mars shall on his altar sit
Up to the ears in blood. I am on fire
To hear this rich reprisal is so nigh
And yet not ours”
–King Henry IV, Part 1, Act 4, Scene i

Good morning, and in case I don’t see you,
good afternoon, good evening, and good night.

“Good night, good night!
parting is such sweet sorrow,
That I shall say good night till it be morrow.”
–Romeo and Juliet, Act 2, Scene ii

“It’s the way you play that makes it . . .
Play like you play.
Play like you think,
and then you got it,
if you’re going to get it.
And whatever you get,
that’s you,
so that’s your story”.

Count Basie
