Who is the Utility Company for Granite Bay Ca?

I have been over the internets and have not come up with an answer.

I am moving from Los Angeles to Granite Bay, just outside of Roseville by Folsom lake. I assume P, G and E but who knows?

Anyone live in that area?

I found this link on a realtor’s web page. Maybe this will help? (It’s nicely formatted on her website with links to the pages. She had a section on transferring utilities. No I’m not related :)).

Thanks. I was able to set up account with PG&E.

they were not able to tell me, though, who handles the water.

Gas for the area (and most of Northern-Central California) is PG&E; they also supply electrical for the region EXCEPT inside the regional Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD). I am not quite sure where the boundary is in the Folsom region - check the web site.

Water in most California cities is by a patchwork of hyperlocal providers and water districts. It can vary from block to block in older areas.

Granite Bay is something of a jumble of water districts. Most likely you’re in San Juan.
