He’s very opinionated during the opinion part of his show called “My Word”. That was an editorial.
I watched BBC World yesterday report that Sharon has “never moved a settlement” and the silent implication was that he is the only actor in the area. Nobody mentioned the Palestinian bombers, or political opposition Sharon faces at home due to it.
How can the BBC spend 20 minutes on OUR presidential election? Is that the “World” part?
Maybe I’m an idiot (responses not required, I’m not inviting opinions on the subject) but wasn’t Gilligans program about Blairs justification for invading Iraq and the fact the British government “sexed up” the facts to justify UK support for invading Iraq?
If only the guy that the OP were making silent implications.
Listen, you have problems with the BBC. Good on you but this editorial piece of shit is just wrong in almost every respect. It’s just outright in your face lies.
Hey Beagle, why not address the OP and the issues raised by the Fox report, rather than criticise the BBC on its Mid-East coverage?
I will, however, address one part of your attempted hijack:
The US election would be covered only on BBC World, but also on all the domestic channels in the UK and Ireland, on our nightly bulletins. You’re quite an important country, see, especially in terms of foreign policy.
You won’t find many people disagreeing with this. I’m not saying the BBC are blameless. I’m saying the guy in the link is either clueless about the affair or lying.
Beagle why don’t you just fuck off and start a BBC Pit thread.
This thread is about the idiot in the link and what he said.
What a lot of wank. He’s pulling his little Murdoc enhanced BBC hating dick off screen.
Very interesting I must have missed the BBC statement that said " it had a right to lie and exaggerate because the knew the war was wrong"
You may have a point about the BBC but why don’t you make it somewhere else. So how about addressing the OP or fucking off?
I’m begining to worry about this. The election of the leader of the largest “democratic” country in the world is under way and people wonder why we might be interested in it. I know it’s only the primaries but this is the shaping of the opposition to the incumbent and is showing us what the people of America are being told are the issues to worry about.
Of course we’re interested - half of the world would substuite “aggressor” for “democratic” and the other half would substuite “benefactor” we’re all stakeholders here.
What amazes me is the total insulation of the Americans. Compare that to the English who think that the rest of the world is automatically interested in whatever goes on there.
Sorry if i’m ranting but I’m still annoyed at that idiot and his vile utterances.
