At work Tues-Fri this week. Most of my many bosses are out, but the one who makes the most work is in all week.
Store cashier here. Saturday night 6 - 11, Sunday 2 -8, and yesterday 1:15 - 6:15 at double pay Whoo! Hoo!
5th Christmas (and also my Birthday) that I have worked.
Had yesterday off, but working today. Nice and quiet. All the trouble-making bosses are safely away, and the holiday freeze means no new emergencies to worry my pretty little head.

Well, yesterday was just genetically busy, but traditional Christmas emergencies include suicide, drunken family violence, and I seem to get a devastated young couple having a miscarriage most years, although I’m sure that last is just confirmation bias on my part.

I worked 8-5 yesterday. I was busy, because I was the only store open for miles.
I worked Christmas and Boxing day, and am at work for a regular shift today and the rest of the week. We help our customers keep their corner of the internet working, and the internet never sleeps. However, it was deathly quiet on the 25th/26th.
In addition, our daughter and her fiance arrived here from the UK (permanently) on Boxing day, so I will take New Years (1st and 2nd Jan 2018) as my summer statutory break, and we will have our family Christmas then.
