Summoned by name I must appear, but I’m not the best person to ask the question of; I don’t like most movies. The only two movies I can remember seeing with God as a character are Bruce Almighty and Dogma, and while I prefer the latter to the former, I don’t think Alanis Morissette has any lines as God.

That’s precisely why Morissette is my favorite. Everyone else plays God the same way. And she perfectly fits everything you hear about her in the movie. You could easily see her taking on a body to go shuffleboarding, right?

I don’t remember the exact line, but in “Deus é Brasileiro”(God is Brazilian), Antônio Fagundes plays God and he’s trying to convince an atheist the he is for real. The atheist want him to perform a miracle and God says something like “it looks easy but then you have to check a million things more to balance up, I don’t like messing up with the laws of physics.”
