Who scares you? I mean *really* scares you?

The american military and the way it is used

Oh, and one I forgot:

At every gym I’ve ever been to, there have been a few guys who are just too big. Just last night I saw this dude benchpressing over four hundred pounds. He wasn’t a very tall guy either, he was just built like a gorilla.

I just don’t thind that kind of thing can be good for you. I think with some people there’s a body dysmorphia going on where they just have to get bigger and bigger. Kind of the opposite of anorexia. Plus, a lot of them are probably on “supplements”, which makes me want to steer clear clear of them in case they decide to have a 'roid rage episode.

And I hope to God I’m never asked to spot for one of them. That would be awkward. “No way man. Sorry. Why? Well, number one, I’ll be of very little help to you if you lose control of that Volkswagen you’re hoisting up over your head, and number two… well, frankly you make me very nervous.”

Don’t laugh…but Michael Myers, not the actor - the character from the Halloween movies. I can’t see that face/mask without severely getting freaked out.

Here’s another vote for Hillary.

I don’t think anybody really scares me quite like Hillary.

Men, in uniform or not, carrying loaded weapons. Groups of three or more thugs. Gaunt-looking people in soiled clothes wandering around in public while talking angrily to themselves. The homunculus I see every morning in the mirror. Otherwise, no one specific.

There’s a couple of kids at school who just make my skin crawl. They just set off my creepy guy alarms. I’m not sure why, but they do.

Also, people in those big character costumes, like at Dinsey Land. I hate to even be near one.

Honestly, number one for me by a long shot would be George W. Bush. He took our country to war without an immediate threat, in the face of massive domestic protest, while taunting and mocking our strongest allies, without a realistic long-term plan. Even if I agreed with the final goal of attacking Iraq, with a little more time and patience the same thing could have been accomplished without the enormous diplomatic and financial costs, and without letting whatever WMD remnants did exist in Iraq get looted by god knows which nutballs.

I don’t think he’s evil, I think he’s impatient and reckless. Impatience and recklessness are very scary qualities to have in the leader of the most powerful nation on earth.

The only thing scarier than the Bush Administration are the folks who believe them.

Are these one and the same?

Do zombies count as a who? They really, really scare me.

Christoper Walken - even after that Fat Boy Slim video - he’s still one scary mother.

I am truly, seriously afraid of people who actually believe this:

And this:

And who still believe this:

Andrew Luster, the Max Factor heir and rapist. He freaks me out. A man who drugs women unconscious and then videotapes himself raping them - now that’s one creepy SOB. I saw a special on him (I think it was “American Justice”) and it gave me nightmares. They need to keep that guy in prison forever.

The woman who let the guy bleed to death in her windshield
The Hit and Run Bishop
The executive with the $6K shower curtain
Any woman willing to hang out with OJ.

If there were a cosmic balance scale of good and evil, it would take thousands and thousands of good acts to make up the vileness of these people’s acts.

number 3 for hilary

Declan

As someone who has actually survived a self-destructive downward spiral, I can only concure. I know absolutely, without a doubt, that I have contemplated doing and have done worse things to myself than anyone else ever has.

You’re scared of everyone shorter than 5-feet 10-inches?

I read the articles linked to in that thread. All I could think was, in a world where an ad that says “gay men wanted for slaughter” gets five responses, why is it so hard for me to get a date?

The whole GW Bush team scares me to death. I shudder to think of what they have in store for us next.

I have three…

-thunderstorms (specifically lightning and how it becomes dark in the daytime)

-people with too much power

-dying alone
