A long time ago someone on this board was looking for a certain type of blanket - the soft acrylic with satin edging. Did they ever find one? Because I think I have what they’re looking for and would be happy to send it to them.

Turns out the thread is a couple of years old and it looks like jay-c found one.
We’re cleaning out my grandmother’s house and when I saw the blanket I remembered that thread.
I posted in that thread as well in case anybody (preferably in Canada!) would like the blanket.

Hello all - I am looking for the same kind of blanket described in this original thread and for the exact same reasons she wanted it too (except it is for my husband and I am looking for a replacement blanket b/c his is starting to fall apart). I too am finding it very difficult to find. I would be extremely grateful if anyone has one of these blankets and is still looking to sell it. The one I am trying to replace is made by Cannon and it is a lightweight 100% acrylic waffle weave style blanket with a wide ribbon on either end. Replacement color won’t really matter, as it is the ribbon binding and weight of blanket that are the most important. Please let me know if you can help! Thank you
