I’ve searched the web to no avail: can someone tell me who was the prime minister of China in 1880, or whether there even was one? Thanks in advance.

According to this site, there was no such office until 1911

In 1880, the de facto Premier/Prime Minister ( though no such exact office existed ) was one Prince Gong. He at least was functionally the senior administrator under the rule of the dowager empresses ( singular after 1881 ) then in power.
