Who was Ted Saucier?

Have you ever picked up an old book and seen the author and wondered, “who was this guy? Is he a guy who just decided to write a book or was he famous in his day or what?”

I got my hands on a copy of the book “Bottom’s Up” by Ted Saucier.

And so I ask … who was Ted Saucier? What do you know about him?

He was for a long time the public relations director of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel and later head of his own agency. (This is from his obituary in the New York Times of October 17, 1970.)
