As recently as a couple of seasons ago, the Cubs had a pitcher, whose name escapes me. He had, at one time in his career, been one of the better pitchers in the game. But for some inexplicable reason he developed a devastating case of The Yips and couldn’t, of all things, throw to first base - at least, not without heroic mental effort.
Does anyone remember this guy’s name?
