Not yet. Obama is close enough to my age that our college years overlapped (in time, not in location), so he’s definitely the first one of my generation.
The younger group of Republican candidates are definitely younger than me, so it’ll either happen in 2016 or 2020.
I think Cruz looks like a guy in his mid-40s. Rubio looks like he is just over 30 to me.
Tom Cotton of Arkansas is the only U.S. Senator younger than me, and seems to be making a lot of noise lately.
In this 'ere kinky little country the only Prime Minister to date born since myself is Julia Gillard, so you could argue that no Australian born after me has been PM.
For Leaders of the Opposition you can include Mark Latham, Chris Bowen and the current Bill Shorten. All four are Labor Party.
Yea, I think its more Rubio looking young than Cruz looking particularly old.
Cruz’s haircut is the worst of any candidate though*. He somehow manages to look like he has a bad comb-over despite the fact that he isn’t balding. Hopefully his campaign manager will send him to a different stylist as his Prez campaign gets going.
(I’m under 35, so no candidates younger than me so far, and y’all will have to keep those Vote Simplicio bumper stickers on the shelf till 2020)
*well, other than Trump, but he doesn’t count as a real candidate so much as an extended add for his reality show, and his haircut doesn’t count as a real haircut so much as a thing that happened to his head.
