Who Was The Last Monarch Who Cured People ("The King's Touch")?

In medieval times, there was a general belief that having the king touch your head would cure disease.
Supposedly, scrofula (AKA the “king’s evil”) could be cured by having the monarch lay his hands on your head.
Did this practice continue into modern times?

It was abolished in England by George I (“Too Catholic”), and in France by Louis XV. Charles X of France tried to revive the practice in 1825, but everyone laughed at him, so he stopped it. The answer, then, would be Charles X in France, and Anne in England.

Elessar was the last we know of in Gondor.

None of them ever “cured people”.

Magic touches don’t work. And never did.
