Whether it be in 2020 or 2024, make your predictions. Who will be the next President of The United States? Someone we know of well now, or (if 2024) someone who is beginning their rise through the ranks?
It can be anyone. Have fun.

No name now, but when you get a dozen or so, throw up a poll. (Also including as an option that trump will be the last president.)
Kamala Harris.
I think Pence has got a decent chance of becoming President before 2020.
Trump is going to be a two term President.
My money’s on a white man.
Too bad; I liked Booker for 2020.
Unlikely. I’ll be shocked if she even runs.
I’m thinking Al Franken.
Agreed. More than decent.
Oh, yeah, good point. My money’s on Pence.
Pence is complicit in the Russia stuff. More likely he will be in a prison cell on Inauguration Day 2021 than taking an oath of office.

Don’t get too far out on that limb, there. ![]()
Indeed! It wasn’t meant to be a documentary but here we are.
I would say either Mike Pence or Oprah Winfrey.
(The scary thing is you can’t really be sure if I’m kidding or not)
Eric Garcetti
Paul Ryan or Nancy Pelosi, depending on how 2018 shakes out.

I’m not even going to hazard a guess. I don’t think Bernie or Hillary will be able to run, because they’re a very good chance that they’ll both be dead.
I find that doubtful. Impeachment is a very extraordinary event. It’s unlikely to be used twice in the same administration.
Besides, Pence is a lot less vulnerable than Trump. He’s got a base that supports him and he’s got political skills; he’ll act a lot smarter than Trump is. And the connections with the Russians are much more direct to Trump then they are to Pence. Plus the Democrats know they can remove Trump from office and make it look principled. But if they go after Trump and Pence, it would look partisan and petty and there’ll be a backlash. And for what? A chance to put a different Republican in the White House?
Plus Trump might leave office over health reasons, which is unlikely to be a factor for Pence.
I find it totally absurd to think I have even a remote chance of nailing this so far in advance, but:
I’m going with Brian Sandoval for the GOP and Eric Garcetti or Gavin Newsom for the Democrats.
And I’m thinking this is more likely to be in 2024 than 2020.
