In the song “Ride Wit Me” by Rap/R&B artist Nelly, there’s a reference to smoking an “L”. What exactly is an “L”?

An L is a joint made with 2 papers. Hold both side by side and turn the one on the right* 90 degrees so it’s sticky side abuts the short edge of the other paper. Lick the glue on the right hand paper and stick to the edge of the left paper. Fill and roll. This now extended joint is called an L 'cos it looks like a capital L when you’ve jjust glued the papers togther.
