Where can I find WHOIS info for domains that end in “.us” or, more specifically, “.mi.us” Obviously, that’s in Michigan, but I’m trying to narrow it down a bit more…
Your best bet is to deal with http://www.arin.net They have a customer support person who’s incredibly rude but sometimes very helpful.
Go to Sam Spade, scroll down and use the ‘whois’ input box. Select United States .us (nii-server.edu) from the list.
Sam Spade is full of little tools for this kind of thing.
