I’ve started: sox x 6 for the boys’ Christmas stockings. Not a very impressive start, huh?
Son #2 wants a squash racquet but hasn’t got around to telling me which one he wants but at least I know what I’m going to be getting him - a big improvement on previous years.
Son #1 is the world’s worst email non-answerer and I have no idea what to get him since he seems to have all the gadgets known to mankind.
My ex-fiancée and I are still friends. (We were friends a lot longer than we were engaged.) She likes Ron Jon clothes. I got her a Ron Jon T-shirt for her birthday, which is coming up, and as long as I was there I got her a hoodie for Christmas.
I buy Victoria’s Secret gift cards for my buddys wives. Two birds and all.
Mom is the hardest to get anything for. What do you get for a person that does nothing?
Sister and her SO are next hardest but I think I’ve got it Or not. Stocking stuffers are done. Candy and cat stuff for Sis, hunting gloves and shot gun cleaning supplies for her SO.
reminds me of Stan Rogers’ “At Last I’m Ready for Christmas”:
Last Boxing Day the wife went out the “White Sales” for to see,
In trunk-load lots bought half-price paper and tinsel for the tree.
I packed it up for use this year in a box I marked so plain.
That stuff would sure be handy now, but it’s never been seen again!
