Yah, and get Brian Jones back.
I don’t quite get the love for Jones in certain circles other than they key fact that he founded the band, gathered its core members and played with them during a fertile period( which is more than enough to get him in the history books ). Taylor and Wood are better guitarists and Jones contributed no or almost no writing. Though I do admit he had a certain charisma.
But I might be partly biased because my favorite Stones period by far is the three album run of Beggars Banquet( marginal Jones input ), Let it Bleed( marginal Taylor input ) and Sticky Fingers( peak Stones, IMHO ).
It probably helps if Between The Buttons is your favorite Stones album. He may not have written any songs, but he contributed sitar, tamboura, dulcimer, keyboards, recorder, harmonica, xylophone, marimba … they never found that richness of texture after he was gone.
A very reasonable answer :).
When Keith is playing lead, he is the lead guitarist. When Ronnie is playing lead, he is the lead guitarist.
This. Tremendously.
