As far as i know all porn stars are internet porn stars because that’s where the grand majority of people get their porn. I have no idea how to tell if a given porn star has dvds or not, the idea of paying for porn is about as alien as paying for air. My favorite is Mia Malkova though, does she count?
I don’t have any particular favorite but I do like the classic stuff better than what’s out there now. That’s a nostalgic preference, but Ginger’s on the short list. Also coinciding with Ginger’s career was her friend Amber Lynn. Amber was an incredibly hot chick with a well toned and fit body.

But there are also porn stars who are good actresses, who emote very well, which is more important, I think, than appearance (YMMV of course.) The best I ever saw was Brooke Bound in a shoot for Hogtied.com. She may not have been acting, she was so good it’s hard to tell. She was definitely putting on performance, but how much of it was just playing off her actual feelings and how much was pure artifice, it’s impossible to say.

To the first question: No, no they’re not.
To the second question: It’s not so much what they do that’s different, it’s how they do it. Enthusiasm, realism in their performances, appearing to honestly enjoy what they’re doing as opposed to looking like they’re just doing it for the money.
My current “thing” is Russian/Ukrainian girls, and there are so many very beautiful young ladies there doing porn. But Gina Gerson (I think she has also worked under the name “Dorothy Ivey”) just really stood out from the other girls performing on the same sites, doing the same things. She comes across as a proactive participant in her scenes, where a lot of the other girls are clearly being “directed”. One “family” of sites makes this distinction pretty obvious, because they seem to have only two male performers, and one of those actors is in the overwhelming majority of the one girl, one guy scenes. He has the bad habit of going through the different actions and positions in exactly the same sequence in each scene. So after seeing him perform with so many different girls, it starts looking really mechanical, like he’s just going down a checklist. Until he performs with Gina. He still goes through that same sequence, but her performance somehow just makes the whole thing come off as more fluid, natural, and spontaneous.

I don’t KNOW, but it’s very common for porn actresses to use pseudonyms that are like the names of mainstream stars. There’s a Daryl Hannah clone who is called Darryl Hannah (two R’s you see) who and looks kinda like her too, for example. Though being a lookalike is not a necessity.
