Who's your favorite movie madman?

Ok, here’s a poll for Hallowe’en. Who’s your favorite horror movie madman?

Shite! I forgot to click the “poll” feature before I posted this thread.

So, anyway, I guess we have to forgo the poll.

But here’s who would have been on it:
-Hannibal Lecter “Silence of the Lambs”
-Norman Bates “Psycho”
-Michael Myers “Halloween”
-Jason Voorhees “Friday the 13th”
-Jack Torrence “the Shining”

Feel free to toss in your own suggestions.

Dr. Emilio Lizardo/Lord John Whorfin, “The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension”

Winner. Thread closed.

Beetlejuice

Day-o! Day-o! Dayyy-o. Daylight comes and me want to go home.

Dr. Herbert West

Jack Nicholson’s Joker.

Bruno, from Strangers On A Train

He was one sick puppy.

Hannibal Lecter.

John Doe from **Se7en **is a good one too.

Hannibal Lecter.

General Jack D. Ripper

Heath Ledger’s Joker.

Seconded. “Become Wrath…!”

Although Dr. Emilio Lizardo is a pretty damned close second.

That’s Lord John Whorfin to you, monkeyboy!

Can you believe that movie’s 26 years old?

Torgo

Not terribly murderous, but Renfield as portrayed by Dwight Frye.

Difficult for me to decide, but for the wife it’s a no-brainer: Her favorite, hands down, is Alan Rickman in Die Hard, followed by him in Robin Hood.

Not really a horror film, but Dr. Frank N. Furter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Forest Gump but Damien from the Omen a close second.
bbbrrrr Forest scares me.

Rickman was absolutely great in Die Hard. Half the roles Jack Nicholson has played; his Joker was perfect. And forgetting about specific characters, Gary Busey is one of those guys who seem to get picked to play “nasty badass bad guy” a lot, and he does a good job at it; he just doesn’t get the big title names like Nicholson does.
