I’m pretty sure there was a thread like this a few years ago in which I saw my twin. Couldn’t tell you who. A girl, I think. May or may not have had the word “ninja” in her name.
The first time I met someone born on my birthdate, I was surprised. I hadn’t met many born 4-28 of any year, so it was kinda cool to meet him. I had great pleasure teasing him for being a few hours younger than me.
Ok, I’ll add my September birthday to the mix then… Sept. 19, 1982. I share the day, but not the year with Fetus. I think he is two years younger than me.
We’re both a few days younger than Tom Cruise… the possibility of bagging Katie Holmes or Penelope Cruz is the only thing that keeps me going sometimes, I can tell you.
Mariah Carey is a scant few hours younger than me, as she was born in the afternoon of March 27th, 1970, while I was up w/ the sun @ 4:30 a.m. that Good Friday in Detroit. Everyone in my immediate family was born on a holiday.
I’ve dated 2 guys w/ my birthday and one who’s a day younger, and at one point 3 of my closest friends and I had birthdays before & after the other by a day.
Got curious as to who was born on 11/18, as I was.
I could throw one helluva hot tub party for Linda Evans, Elizabeth Perkins, Peta Wilson, and Chloe Sevigny. OK, I suppose I could invite Susan Sullivan (Greg’s mom on Dharma and Greg), Katey Sagal, and heck, maybe even Brenda Vaccaro.
It seems to have been a particularly good day for my chosen field of music: Paderewski, Eugene Ormandy, Hank Ballard, Carl Maria von Weber, Don Cherry, soprano Galli-Curci, W.S. Gilbert of the firm of Gilbert & Sullivan, Dorothy Collins from Your Hit Parade, and of course, the immortal Johnny Mercer.
11/18 is also the Latvian Independence Day, which makes me happy because I have always had a soft spot in my heart for those plucky Letts. I was (erroneously) told years ago that 11/18 is also the Dutch national day, when they eat pea porridge, so when I can, I request same at my table.
