Whose Biography Do You Want to Read?

I don’t recall any recent threads like this. Which people, famous, infamous or not-so-famous, would you like to read a biography or autobiography of, and why?

To name two for starters - I’m sure I’ll think of more later if this gets any replies:

Andre Agassi. I’m a tennis nut and I’ve been a fan of Agassi’s for more than 10 years. I still clearly remember watching him win Wimbledon in '92. I recall his days as the flashy, gaudy superstar dude with the dyed blonde hair who was changing the game, but was even better at doing endorsements. :stuck_out_tongue:
There were so many times it looked like it was all over, especially in '97 when his ranking fell into the 140s. Then he roared back and somehow won the '99 French Open (and came back from the brink of defeat in the finals, too), which made no damn sense, then won won the US Open as an unseeded player. Things got tough again after that (his mother and sister had breast cancer at about the same time), but he found his way again. He’s the most dedicated player in the game, and at 33 this year, he became the oldest #1 player ever at an age when most of his contemporaries have retired. He also does tons of charity work and is regarded as one of the most generous athletes out there.

Tori Amos: much shorter reason, frankly, I’m a fan of her music and I just want to know more about the person who it’s coming from. She’s very enigmatic and can be hard to follow, but she’s always herself, and I think she’s fascinating.

Well? Anybody else?

Probably Audrey Hepburn. I admired her as an actress, and I believe she helped others, especially in her later years. Also, she grew up in poverty.

Gerald Ford. I wondered what became of him after political life.

Amy Carter (Jimmy Carter’s daughter) She grew up in the public eye. Went into politics herself, got married and then faded out of the limelight.

Kevyn Aucoin–makeup artist to the stars. He always seemed like such a wonderful person. I think there is a new bio on him that just came out.

Anybody know of a good ADULT biography of Grace Murray Hopper? All the ones I’ve found were written for children.
