Whose face used to be on the dime?

You stated that from 1982 to present the US minted the American Silver Eagle Dollar. A couple of mistakes in that statement: First, the American Silver Eagle Dollar (ASED) was not minted until 1986. Second, the ASED is not considered to be circulating legel tender as it is consider to be bullion. The ASED contains 1 ounce of .999 pure silver and is assigned a value of one dollar but will never to sold at that price. The last dollar to be circulated was the SBA dollar in 1981. The US Mint plans to mint the SBA dollar one last time in 1999 to meet a shortage in the vending machine industry. In 2000, the US Mint will mint a redesigned dollar coin.
