Once upon a time, this board did not have the option to post a Quick Reply. Back in those days, when you typed a response and clicked submit, you’d get a page that said
And eventually, you would be. When the Quick Reply function was added, that response disappeared.
Today, it’s come back, now updated to add “If you opted to post a poll, you will now be allowed to do so.”
What gives?
That message (the one referring to a poll) should only appear when you start a new thread. A reply, quick or otherwise, wouldn’t give you that message.
I’ve gotten that all day today, over the course of 5-6 threads, and I haven’t started any new thread at all.
ETA that now that I said that, of course the ‘thank you’ page didn’t appear.
