And note that the tablet refers to the subject as being known “since time immemorial”! So even 4000 years ago, fart jokes were a very old story.

a couple of years ago there was a “funny fart stories” thread around here that had me shaking, tears *streaming *down my face, because I was laughing so hard.

I would love it if someone would link that. I don’t want to read the best one you quoted and only have to look down from there.
