Argentina, eh? I spent a few weeks in Rosario. Did some dove hunting, did some fishing, had a fantastic time. Having gone to Argentina from Brazil, I was amazed at the large number of blonde-haired blue-eyed people there. Food was excellent, and the people were very friendly.
I give Argentina a solid B+ on my list of places to visit.
What? Do I have to spew something for/against the war now?
Why are pro-war people so eager to risk our total destruction on this war?
So we can bomb orphanages 'n hospitals 'n git our hands on summa that oil! Yeehaw! fires pistols into air and gleefully hops from one foot to the other
I, personally, was initially opposed to war. I didn’t really believe that our country was at risk, or any such thing. And whether we are or we aren’t has already been trumped, as far as I’m concerned.
I changed my opinions while watching, of all things, MTV. Tony Blair was answering questions from an obviously biased audience, and I think it’s safe to assume that MTV is probably to the left of things. So I didn’t think the MTV narrator was exaggerating when listing the forms of torture that Saddam regularly utilizes.
Beatings - Ah, that’s no big thing.
Pulling out Fingernails - That’s certainly creepy, but I don’t think it’s enough to start droppin’ bombs over.
Acid Baths - Huh… umm… yeah, that’s pretty creepy. Maybe I should reconsider.
Rape by Broken Bottle - Holy fucking shit.
I don’t know about you, but left or right, threat or no threat, oil or no oil, I draw the fucking line at rape by broken bottle. Anchors away, my boys, anchors away.
Hey, no prob, amigo. If you have a plan for visiting justice on Goddam Husseins evil children (who remind me of Caligula’s child as described in I, Claudius) that doesnt involve the death of thousands of innocent people…
That gives some info about Saddam’s boys, Qusay and Uday. I particularly like the list of “scrapes” that Uday has been in, such as killing another motorist by spraying his vehicle with automatic weapon fire, because the other motorist wasn’t driving fast enough.
