Why are there no women on televised snooker?

Apart from the odd ocassion when they show a women-only tournament of course.

This is a General Question, but it’s about a sport. I put it Cafe Society, but feel free to move it if you think it’s inappropriate

I don’t watch much snooker, but every so often I’m flicking through the channels, it’s on and I leave it on. All the players who make it on to all the televised ranking tournaments are male. That’s what I’d expect from a sport which requires upper body strenth or stamina as the male body is designed better, on average, for such things. Snooker, which I am very poor at so I can’t say for sure, just seems to be a matter of strategy, calculating angles, and precise striking: none of which males seem to have any general advantage at.

There is the women’s snooker championship but that has less money and prestige so I would guess that anybody who could make a showing at the main championships would.

So the actual question: Are women excluded from the main tournaments? If so how is this allowed under anti-discriminatin laws, if not why do women not get through the qualifiers in a sport like snooker?
