Why are women with receeding hairlines so Hostile?

Geez, around here their even worse than the bald headed ones. It seems like every woman I know that has a receeding hairline all seem to be as evil as sin. I don’t know if their just like that towards me, or just like that in general, but as far as I’m concerned everytime I see one coming, I’ve learned to immedately look for someplace to hide until they’ve passed on
I know of one in particular thats so mean that when she left the building to go home, If I didn’t know any better I could have sworn I saw her flying across the moon’s siloette on a broom cackling as she flew across the sky

Tell me, is this a coincidence, or does the loss of hair genetically provoke this kind of behavior

Has anyone else here experienced this :dubious:

Have you ever thought that it might be that you keeping pointing it out to them?

Or that you stare at them intently?

I think it is not because of receding hairlines, but really because of age. Old people can be mean. Old people have receding hairlines. Problem solved.

Did you ever stop to think, perhaps, how difficult it is for a woman to lose her hair? Apparently not. Well, I do know, and although I’m sure it wasn’t your intention to sound like an immature cad, that’s kind of what you’re sounding like from the point of view of a woman who not only had a receding hairline, but then proceeded to go completely bald at age 25 thanks to a disease called alopecia universalis.
And although I wasn’t hostile before, I am now.

Because you touch yourself at night.

Haaah!

I’d bet that those women that allow their receeding hairlines to show just don’t care about themselves anymore. That is, it’s a symptom of their general bitterness.

As a small child there was an old lady living across the street from me. She had a receeding hairline. I’ll never forget her. Mean as hell. Hated kids because we played in the street. Hated the noise we made. Hated and threatened to poison my cat. Just hate, hate, hate. Boy — I’ll never forget that receeding hairline OR her big fat body. But especially that receeding hairline. Thanks.

I forgot to add the best part -------- she also hated “negros” – hated them with a passion. Well, she died a few years back and had her ashes placed in her backyard. “Negros” purchased her house and that backyard. Man - she’d hate that!

No, no, thank you. Your post taught me the true meaning of Christmas.

OOoO, mrAru has alopecia, as does his [female] Doctor…he doesn’t mind the hair, though he really misses his eyelashes and nose hairs [foreign body filtration]

Do you also have the fingernail problem?

</hijack>
On the medical thought…being on chemo and other drug regimens can be painful, maybe they are just dealing with additional issues…

I’ve been pretty lucky with the fingernails so far. I get some pitting sometimes, but otherwise they’ve remained pretty strong.
How long has mrAru had alopecia? He must be AU as well? I just went AU in the past six months. Before that, I was AA for about seven years.
I really don’t miss the hair that much either. I wear wigs to work, and basically anytime I leave the house, and at home just wear a bandana. It was honestly a lot worse for me before it just all fell out becuase I was always trying to cover spots up. Now I just throw on my wig and have perfect hair for the rest of the day. I miss my eyelashes too. I wear glasses, so I haven’t had too many problems with the eyes, though I know people who have struggled with this. If he’s interested, I’m a member of an online message board for alopecians with some really great people. E-mail me if he is!

If there’s an actual discussion buried in all this I can’t find it.
Locked.
