Yes, this is the more relevant correlational point - felons are more likely to be black (for reasons already well-hashed out elsewhere) and black people in America are more likely to vote Democratic (also for reasons already well-hashed out elsewhere).
However, to extrapolate from this to “Democrats with guns steal them” is silly at best and outright offensive at worst. The vast majority of Democrats buy their guns legally, just like the vast majority of Republicans do.

The ones I know and/or am related to are exactly like this. They’re just like that; until they get a couple of drinks in them. Then they become cocky chest-beaters are are going to maraud about and ( literally ) kick ass to all who oppose them. This transformation apparently makes them 40 years younger and 70 pounds lighter as well.

I’ve always been something of a centrist, but I’ll be damned if I vote for the Republican party in the short to moderate run, because I refuse to vote for anyone in a party that will not only tolerate, but endorse Trump’s lying, hostility, use of the office for personal enrichment, and general banana republic dictator shittiness, as well as for McConnell’s endorsement of Trump’s dictatorial crap, and total willingness to screw our system of government for short term political gain. So I guess that makes me a Democrat.
I have a bunch of guns. Some inherited, some I bought. And I’m about to get a few more (inheriting). I know several other people who are also Democrats who own guns, some of which have ALWAYS been Democrats. Don’t paint us all with such a broad brush. It’s as stupid as saying every Republican is racist.

MAGA in and of itself is a flash in the pan and they will move on to the next evangelist when Trump is unceremoniously scrubbed off the records of the GOP like a steroids era slugger. Whether that happens now or in 4 years, they don’t need him to galvanize their beliefs or lead them forward, he’s just a big shiny cog in the wheel at this point. What is not a flash in the pan is a centuries old culture of the people who resonate with this brand. It is really important that people do not associate a traditional conservative with a Trump cultist, the Trump cult by and large do not even care about politics.
The core and modern (20 years or so) foundation of their quackery is firmly and clearly rooted in their bogus “news” sources that know exactly and expertly how to tickle their white hot fears of whats around the corner, with inflated boogeymen and strokes of reality all mashed together in a macabre stew that has worked this base into an absolute paranoid 4 alarm frenzy. These MAGA folk barely speak english anymore, they are only fluent on freshly approved fox news talking points. We all know it. They babble the same dozen or so hackneyed phrases over and over again until they get clearance for the next. This is the modern fuel source that vulcanizes their ire. Without it they would quickly dissipate but it’s not going anywhere.
Their beginnings go back hundreds of years to a safer, more secure spot much higher on the totem pole. There was no guff from women, the minorities were either owned or stocked in perpetual fear and oppression and times were a boomin’ for the white male. Of course, it still is for many, but not for all white males. Not for middle American white males who have watched their regions, cities and towns wither and struggle under global economic policies that have bled their wells dry on the back of traditional American greed based policies that frankly everyone in this country turns a blind eye to so long as we’re reaping the windfalls, and have long felt victimized by government and liberal policy even when it is mostly just an excuse for them not getting continually grandfathered in perpetuity into automatic success despite being very sub-average on the whole. The truth is that 8 years of a black man in the highest office combined with the ignition of their despicable treasonous propagandized Tuckers, Limbaughs and OReillys lit the torch under their asses that their way of life is being stolen from them and Trump has been throwing smokebombs into the fire ever since.
Scared, no. They are terrified approaching feral, and above all they are dangerous and on the verge of armed attacks on the populace in the coming decade so long as they have lunatics like Trump encouraging it at every turn. They closer they get pushed towards the hyperbolized fear of assimilation, the more violence will become a threat and a reality. Thats what the writing on the wall looks like to me anyway.
They have been redirected from every rational, objective explanation for cultural and social evolution to blame “liberalism” for all of it, when in fact it is very much inevitable that a nation of immigrants is going to eventually evolve towards a darker shade of pale and a less inclusive heirarchy. They don’t want it, they don’t fucking like it and they are going to fight to keep their long held white, supposedly christian ways tooth and nail. You cannot reason with them anymore than you can rationalize with a cobra not to bite. They are practically running on instinct at this point. This is why you see MAGA gear everywhere. This is why masks to help contain a horrible virus are merely seen as a symbol of liberal tyranny to them. This is why the right hijacked the American flag as an unspoken symbol of conservative white culture. What they are saying is this isn’t a flag for blacks, for mexicans, for gays, for foreigners, for atheists, for liberals (they’ve had to give in on women for the most part but believe me they don’t like that either), or any damn person who isn’t with us, this is OUR country.
The South will rise again, we’ve been hearing for a long time. The ethos isn’t just about the south, it’s every guy anywhere in America that this resonates with. They’re not joking around about it either. They feel cornered and they’re being expertly manipulated by their politicians and “news” sources to ignore what has happened to their economy industrially in the last century and to focus their blame on the evil liberal as their cure all remedy. If you want a quick litmus of this middle American white male theory, check out the stark divide to what these men stand for vs. which way their wives are polling in this country. Quite a contrast because one of those groups is extremely familiar with actually being treated as a second class citizen while one is merely horrified of maybe someday truly facing the hint of such an indignity for the first time. People brush off and laugh at remarks that any white man could ever feel oppressed but thats really the core of why liberals truly don’t understand the MAGA mentality. They genuinely do feel that way and its why no amount of reasoning is going to change their minds, its also why they resent any notion that America could be better than the one they personally want. They really would prefer to sabotage this country than to watch it thrive under any lib policies or leadership.
The rapid cultural shifts of internet socialization and disorienting mis-information is also a huge factor in expediating flashbang radicalism and general anti-intellectual buffoonery so quickly across the board. We have moved into an era where personality quite literally (hate to use this word) trumps EVERYTHING else, many people have quickly shifted towards picking politicians by the same methods they’d sub a youtube channel. My city is about to elect a Trump 2.0 candidate as mayor who has no gov’t experience and all of a GED for education (nothing wrong with that but for mayor of a city?? hmmm…) over the lifelong incumbent politician because Trump 2.0 assured everyone we’re victims, people just love his Christmas display and the incumbent is “boring” and “lacks charisma”.
