Why Can't I Burn 80 Minutes of Music on a 80 Minute Disc?

Intransit there is another thing. If you’re trying to copy a cd to a cd, and that cd you’re copying has both music files and data files your burner will burn the music off the cd stop at the data files go WTF and error. The burnt cd’ll play music fine though.

Hope that helps.

In case anyone was wondering, I have just successfully burned my very first 77 minute CD! And I only made 2 coasters in the process. I tried to use CD n’ Go Suite & burner but having to convert everything from WMP to MP3 was kinda painful. Turned out that Roxio was my savior as it read/burned WMP files just fine.

Thanks for all your help & thoughtful suggestions.

Along similar lines Adaptec Easy CD 4 seems to have just crapped out on me. I’ve burned dozens of audio CDs with it before, but for some reason it now doesn’t recognize that my mp3 folder has any audio files in it. It only recognizes wavs as being audio files now. I forced it to show all files, and I tried to put the desired files in, but it says that the file has an “unrecognized file extension.” I reinstalled and the problem persists. Any ideas?
