Just wondering: If you had a one-year subscription to a title like Battlechasers, due to the massive delays in production and irregular schedule, would your subscription run out after receiving one or, possibly no issues, or would it take you ten years to actually fulfill the one-year subscription?
Aside to comix fans and creators: I miss Travis Charest on WILDCats! Come baaaaaaaaaccckkkk!!!
Eh. He kind of irritates me these days, ever since he got the Pulitzer and started working for THE NEW YORKER and became the “voice of alternative comic art” for the mainstream press. And that children’s book of his, OPEN ME, I’M A DOG, was crap.
I always loved ARCADE and RAW, though. And this new book is the good schtuff.
Well, the stuff I might subscribe to if I could: Elfquest, Cerebus, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back when they were bloody and violent and not too cartoony, Osagi Yojimbo, Lone Wolf and Cub, Sin City, DC’s Vertigo line (HellBlazer, The Dreaming, Sandman, short runs of stories like Enigma), X-Men, Batman, random graphic novels and anything that happens to catch my eye. I could stand to expand my comics horizons, IMHO, but that takes money.
I don’t have many pics of me–most of my pictures are of other people. You can see me ride a jetski or as a baby, but I didn’t think those were good for the SDPP; or you can see me in the ChiDopeFest pics (I’m the one with the yellow lei) or spiffled pics. But none of those really flaunt any voluptuousness. You want that, you’ll have to wait 'til I see if the pics of my viking halloween costume with the little furry bikini top turned out OK.
