I am black and had my hair twisted for two years and today I put some water in it and was able to completely pull it out. This is odd since every single race can fully lock in a year if their hair is twisted but I cannot. My hair did not even lock a little bit not even one knot!! Why is that?
not a clue being white and not a hairdresser, but my personal opinion is why bother? I think dreadlocks are about the ugliest hairstyle ever. I prefer the style with lots of smaller cornrow braids, for some reason dreads make me expect to see little bugs crawling around=\

On the beauty of dreadlocks… good ones are absolutely stunning, just as beautiful as cornrows if not more… but the ones by “neglect” tend to have that hedonistic, uneven look, yeah…
