Given her self satisfied expression after having said it, she thought it was clever, and that’s the important thing. And I don’t even care if they define it, I just like to see them squirm and obfuscate when asked about it.
Unless she was compelled to testify in a court of law, asking her that question would have been a waste of time.

There will be no more squirming then there usually is. There will be a disdainful glare and an ignoring of the actual question. You have got to quit expecting these political trolls to react as if they feel bad about this shit deep down inside. They don’t.
I think there is a good general definition; it’s just not one that conservatives want to give or advertise, except maybe in certain conditions.
“Woke” is acknowledgment of personal or systemic bias of any kind (except against white people) and/or any attempt to address said bias, no matter how feeble.

You say, “discovered as stupid”, but that’s not really it. The stupid people never get that they’re stupid. They think they’re smart, and you’re the stupid one for questioning them. So the evil and hateful part comes out in them attacking you for suggesting that they’re stupid for having said something you’re too stupid to understand. “Har-Har! Look at this idiot, who doesn’t even know what “woke” means, har-har!”
It is interesting watching progressive types look for certain questions or such, like magic words that will open up the eyes of the MAGA types. It’s weirdly like Freemen of the Land – “if we confront MTG with her hypocrisy on this, surely she’ll see the error of her ways.” It’s just never going to happen, there’s no shame, there’s no bottom.
Anyway, woke is like communist or liberal or politically correct – just the current snarl word for right-wingers to use about left wingers. That’s the definition when DeSantis uses it – “bad thing”.

Stupid is it’s own kind of evil. I like these 5 laws of Stupid people, especially this part:
Law 3. A stupid person is a person who causes losses to another person or group of people when he or she does not benefit and may even suffer losses.
Most of these new MAGAts are squarely in the stupid zone. They’re trying to destroy those they perceive as their enemies, and don’t even realize that, in the process, they’re also destroying the country they claim to love. They’re maybe just on the edge of the Bandit category, because they do make money by grifting people even stupider than themselves, but even there, they don’t seem to get it, that if they trash the US economy, they’re going to lose money too.
A stupid person is one who does not realize the results of actions.
Doesn’t even require replacement. Just asking that gays, trans, atheists, minorities &c be considered part of society is enough.
