Well, I do know people who are rejoicing that there is no afterlife, because they’d end up in Hell for sure otherwise.
The basis of the popularity of Christianity is the profound love, grace and joy the penitent discovers by following Jesus Christ, the embodiment of the Way, the Truth and the Life. This resolves into an intimate, one(self)-to-One(Christ)-to-One(God) relationship, joined with the eternal Heavenly Father and Mother and True Son of all mankind.
Speaking personally, I believe this is the most beneficial, even radical, life-altering experience anyone can have. It’s a daily walk and sincere effort is required. However, I find the reward “infinitely” outweighs the cost.
Thank you for your post. I was pleasantly surprised at the favorable tone rather than the aspersions sometimes cast in the media.
