Why did Frozen look so good?

People…let it go…

I scrolled past this thread about six times in the last couple of hours, thinking it said “Why did frozen food look so good?”. I finally checked in, actually prepared to explain in great detail the process of photographing food for ads :smack:

I’ve never watched Once Upon a Time, but I get the gist of what it’s about. To me there just seems something jarring and offputting about inserting a bunch of fairy tale characters from a one-off film from 3 years ago into a TV show that your studio also owns, along side centuries old characters from Grimm, Mother Goose, and other cannon that have a much richer history. Yeah, I get that Frozen is loosely based off of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen. But she still looks like a cast member from a Disney park.

My wife watches it and I had the same thought. Seemed less like some land of fantasy and more like land of Disney commercialism. But I’m not an avid watcher of the show anyway and maybe those who are loved it.

I know this is about the animation, but I can’t let the comments on the music slide.

It was awful to the max. “Put a spike in my brain now, please.” bad.

Everytime a song started the movie just went to hell completely. I have no idea why anyone thought any of those songs were bearable.

Incredibly generic/vanilla tunes done badly.
