Title says it all.
OK, so I’ll elaborate, for those that are opening this thread and finding sod all.
A couple of years ago one of the characters (forgot her first name, last name fowler) went to America with her daughter vicky, who was about 8ish at the time (correct me if I am wrong)
Recently vicky returned, at age about 18, and with a strong American accent.
I’ve missed one or two episodes, so I can’t pinpoint when it happened, but she suddenly switched to a very clear English accent.

How’s the show doing in the UK? They no longer show it on BBC-America due to low ratings, much to my folks dismay.

It’s doing quite well here as far as I know.
Although TV habits seem to be changing (maybe the sheer number of bloody loan adverts has something to do with that, and soon it will be the cause of national suicide) a long running and once very good show Brookside was axed the other day.
Eastenders has got a good few decades left in it.
When did they stop showing it on BBCA by the way? (just wondering which story lines you haven’t seen)
Some time in September, I think. I didn’t watch the show much myself, but my parents loved it.

Strange, I would have thought they’d wait at least until Dirty Den came back, in order to see if that improved the ratings.
Silly - Americans don’t have accents. It’s you weirdos across the sea (both ways) that have accents.
So really, your question is when did Vicky attain a British accent?
