december, you never seem to tackle the important issues or ask the questions that really need to be asked. The American people need to understand the full range of Clinton’s evil deeds and shifty cover-ups:

It’s of particular importance now because a ridiculous number of very expensive, very popular drugs go off-patent in the next few years. IIRC, the real bonanza comes in 2005, when some of the statins and the rest of the PPIs and SSRIs all go at once. Thus, there’s going to be a lot of money and effort in the next few years put into stall tactics.
(Does anyone know of a good site that lists drugs coming off patent? I can’t seem to find one.)

What on earth made Bill Clinton so evil that some conservatives just cannot let him go? I’m not saying he’s perfect, but damn, you don’t hear me still bitching about Nixon or even Reagan.
Or is it because your president is a schmoe, so you’d rather bash Clinton then talk up Bush?
ElwoodCuse, the word even makes your first sentence some sort of a slam on Reagan. And, calling my President a schmoe certainly is a Bush bash.

So you’re here december, do you care to comment on the debate at hand? Why should I go through the trouble of finding facts for you if you’re not even going to comment?
Are you really looking for a debate, or just your own forum in which you can post any old propaganda without having to substantiate it?
light strand, you complain that I’m posting propaganda, yet you also complain that I’m not posting. 
I very much appreciate the input from several knowledgable posters. I’ve learned a lot from you folks. Learning from people like you is one of the pleasures of being a part of this message board.
Actually light strand didn’t contradict himself (herself?). He never said anything about your lack of posting. His attack was that when you do post, it is to post more propoganda, not to debate the issue at hand.
Now you can reply to this with “golly gee everyone, why are you hijacking this? Let’s get down to business here.”
But that takes misses two key aspects:
- We aren’t hijacking this thread at all. Your title was “Why didn’t Clinton end the ‘drug patent scam’?” and we are trying to answer just how wrong the question is in the first place.
- When you act all confused at why we’re attacking you, yet you refuse to meaningfully respond to anyone’s arguments, you don’t further the debate any either. So far you’ve done this twice in the thread.
I meant no slam against Reagan. I referred to chronology only–Nixon being president in the 70s and Reagan in the 80s.
