The only thing the government guarantees is that they will steal your landholdings. It started here in Adelaide South Australia. You are very lucky in parts of the world where you don’t have it. Here is my message to my local Member of Parliament. There are numerous messages to numerous Ministers from me. Torrens title is a crime ring.
My message to my local Member:
Fail to return the stolen property and I’ll make sure you are not sitting in that seat after the next election.
Your police have committed fraud.
Your police came to my house and told me this was joint tenants with survivorship which is a falsehood.
Your police arrested me, fingerprinted me, photographed me, and imprisoned me in a cell at Sturt station.
I had to walk home at night in the dark to South Brighton a long distance and in a threatening area.
Your police placed my life in jeopardy.
There is no survivorship on this land holding and you have maintained a charade against us for 20 years.
You blocked our caveat and you smashed the site to bits and as a cover up to stop us getting and using what is rightfully ours.
David Inglis at Leigh Trust Anglican Church offered us the return of the property 20 years ago.
When it was said that damages had to be paid they reneged.

You put all of our land holdings in the hands of public servants who know no law and who wouldn’t care less.
I want to know what you intend to do about returning the property you stole from us with your Torrens system.
I suspect that your Register Book contains thousands of frauds if not tens of thousands of frauds on the public.
Your Register Book would contain that many errors and frauds not to mention the omissions of the requirement to register any leased land holdings over one year, that you may as well burn it.
Shopping centres and malls, high rise apartments, and office space leased. The entire city and suburbs. A mass fraud on the public.
The system contains that many errors and omissions that it is not worth a pinch, in fact it is far more dangerous to the public to retain it, than it is to abandon it.
It is not worth anything. You have a city full of people that have lost their properties and businesses.
Or they have been duped out of them by frauds like survivorship and other devices used by your LTO. When those people find out what you have done to them, there is no telling what they will do.
They won’t worry about a pittance in compensation from the government, they will deal with it their way, through rage. Robert Torrens was an idiot.
All your Register Book is, is one big lie to the public. This system contains that many frauds and errors that it is worthless and must be torn down.

That’s what I learned in Real Property as well. From memory we had the same lecturer, though, although at different institutions.
It is a shame since it makes things SO much easier. Old system (NSW) is a pain.
What’s “NSW”? Well, in any event, the British (actually Australian) way is too socialistic for us Americans. You want Big Government to control every thing? Once property is in Torrens, title examiners will no longer have the joy of reading the entire history of a parcel, from the time of the US patent, anyway. (This is hardly necessary, any more, since most parcels have a fairly recent title insurance policy or attorney’s opinion.) Note that Illinois allowed property to be brought into the Torrens system, but Illinois repealed that act.
