serious question: r u ppuppy?
pick y or n
One question I wanted to ask – why are our views make feminists so uncomfortable that they almost always try to insult us?
i dont no what u mean. i are lov ppuppy’s
Most adults have read hundreds of books. I’ve read thousands, but I don’t claim to be an expert in any field. I’ll allow my actions to determine that.
You still haven’t really said anything in response to what I said. Which is fine, you don’t have to if you don’t want to, but I don’t understand, then, why you replied to my post.

The issues where men get the shaft pale compared to where women get the shaft.

I’ll tell you this; I know of no women who feel comfortable travelling alone at night. None. And I live in a place, Toronto, with a low crime rate, a crime rate that would be the envy of most large cities. But women are in a constant state of low-grade fear whenever alone, and it’s justified. I long ago lost count of the number of female friends, relatives and acquaintances I know who have some tale of sexual harassment, assault, or other physical assault, by strangers, dates, you name it.
I, a man, have never in my life felt afraid to go about my business alone at night around Toronto. I am no scary ass-kicker. I just know as a man I’ll be left alone.
I wouldn’t trade. No fucking way.
That’s enough of that mocking. You’re derailing the discussion and being insulting. Stop it at once.

And yet … men are much more likely to be victims of violent crime than women. Go figure.
Could you describe a handful of ways in which men are significantly disadvantaged?
Okay, I will go figure; men, especially young men, are likelier to place themselves into situations where they will assault each other. That’s not something I need to be afraid of, as I do not do that.
What makes you think all or even most of the people who’ve mocked you are feminists or even women.
I didn’t realize that “the mainstream media” was controlled by man-hating women.
Perhaps you can list the major media outlets that are controlled by women which stifle the issues that MRAs advocate?
Which books? Please don’t tell me you’re a Warren Farrell fan.
I was not mocked much as I try to stay away from flame wars. From what I have seen, many feminists online and in the media subject MRAs to vicious personal attacks.
I have read The Myth of Male Power and Women Can’t Hear What Men Dont Say along with many other books by many other authors.
Why am I not surprised?
So anyway, since you claim that “the mainstream media” “refuses” to discuss men’s rights issues perhaps you can let us know which “mainstream media” outlets are controlled by women?
The ones controlled by men prefer not to discuss these controversial issues.
Well maybe not you personally. I thought this was a more general discussion.
Oh yes! Feminist are the enemy!
Men disadvantaged… Sure in SOME areas, but that is the swing of the pendulum sir. Men are harshly punished for leaving mini-mes unsupported because it has been such an issue in the past. Alimony also has a similar beginning as women were left penniless and with no viable means of making a sufficient income after spending their life “tending house” and doing odd jobs to make ends meet that when their husband’s midlife crisis hit and they ran off with a younger secretary, they were stuck.
Of course this was a time when women did not have the educational and career opportunities they have today. That is they men’s right’s groups best bet for equal treatment, for both sexes to be equal.
Reproductive rights should not be contingent on what’s best for the state, unless you want pregnant women tested so that their young who have, say, cystic fibrosis or some other genetic condition can be euthanised before birth to save the taxpayer money. And not just abortion, women can put their unwanted children up for adoption or just abandon them, in most American states, which makes the taxpayer responsible.
Anyway, assuming you’re pro-choice a child is only created by birth. That’s the woman’s choice only. Her body, her choice. So why is it her choice that a man she had a one-night stand with should have to work for her benefit for eighteen years? Why should the child’s likely fate rest on how wealthy his mother’s one night stand was? Why is it more “just” to make a single random man take responsibility for a woman’s choices than the woman herself or society as a whole?
But if you really think men should only have rights when it’s cost effective, think of the money to be saved from child support enforcement, and locking up people who haven’t commited a crime, and removing workers from the economy.
I have never, ever heard of a man who has been denied the right to get an abortion if he’s pregnant. Please note that impregnating someone isn’t the same as being pregnant.
women are notoriously paid for more money to make pornography. This is clearly an outrage.
